“Everyone in the Bureau just calls it the EZ. The densely forested area has been sealed off, mutating the land, and anything that enters its borders. You are a botanist assigned to explore and document the Exclusion Zone flora. Get in. Discover and document. Get out.”
Inspired by The Colour Out of Space by H.P. Lovecraft and Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer. Exclusion Zone Botanist is an ENNIE-nominated solo drawing and exploration game. Move hex by hex through the EZ. Roll dice to discover strange and dangerous flora. Decide when it’s time to turn around and get out… before it’s too late.
FORMAT: A5 (5.8" x 8.3") staple-bound zine, color cover, black and white interior. Approximately 28 pages.
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY: A copy of the EZ map (included in zine), a token to mark your position, writing/drawing implements, two six-sided dice in different colors, and something to write on. Dice and tokens not included. Check out the Exclusion Zone Botanist Deluxe Bundle for more.
